Раритетные карбоновые рамы : Alan и Vitus

Теперь у меня есть две раритетные карбоновые рамы :  Alan и Vitus.

Unlike today's carbon and aluminum (Al) frames, the ones made by Vitus (France) and Alan (Italy) were simply an extension of the traditional lugged steel frame. In the case of Vitus they were bonded to Al lugs while Alan bonded and screwed their tubes into their Al lugs. Guerciotti also marketed an Alan Al frame and still does so today in its cyclocross version. The early Vitus and Alan frames were light and particularly smooth riders.

Some Alan

Hi Thomas,
the frame you have got seems one of the first Alan Super from the 70's. We don't have any record for that serial number because is too old. Maybe it was made on 1974/1975. For that there's no cable guides. I think , in that period, the cables were fixed by some bands only.
The correct decals for that frame should be the black ones.
I remain at your disposal for more infor.

Еще Alan

Вот инструкция и наглядное пособие по сборке:

Here's the component list so far.

Derailleurs: Mavic SSC 851 group RD and matching FD. I would have gone with Mavic's later indexed Mavic RDs, but just can't swing the cost to find and buy those. I can always change the derailleurs later, but they did still use the 851s on many bikes in 1986 when the bike was made.
Shifters: Mavic/Simplex Retrofriction.
Chain: Sedis/Sachs MC90 narrow with black and silver links.
Crankset: Edco Competition 170mm x 144BCD, 52 x 42 tooth rings.
Freewheel: Regina CX, 7 speed.
Bottom Bracket: Edco Competition 116mm, sealed bearings with double adjustable aluminum cups.
Seatpost: 25mm dia. Shimano 600 Aero (Came with frame).
Saddle: Selle San Marco Concor Supercorsa.
Brakes: Weinmann Delta with Aero levers.
Headset: Miche Primato with needle bearings. I thought of using my Stronglight Deltas, but the steerer tube is a bit short for the Deta's stack height.
Pedals: Look Keo Classic.
Waterbottle cage: Blackburn aluminum race cage.
Stem: Early 90's (can't remember what model) Italmanubri with clamshell type clamp (for 25.4mm diameter bar?, that was a suprise for me!?), Silver and black anodized.
Handlebar: Italmanubri model Europa Super Racing, black anodized, previously from my PSV, bought back in the 80's. (25.4mm dia, see stem).
Wheels: Custom tubular wheelsset built by Kevin King(?) 1987 with Hoshi bladed spokes in radial pattern up front and 2x at drive side and radial on non-drive side at rear, Capmgnolo Record hubs and unknown 32H semi aero profile rims.
Tires: Schwalbe Milano tubs.

А это из описания Alan на ebay:

This rare Alan Carbonio is build around the following components:

Handlebar: 3ttt "Criterium", 42 cm, with old engraved logo, fresh black bar tape, chromed end plugs
Saddle: Selle Italia Turbo Matic 2, was NOS but bike once fell on it (and that caused a small mark on left side)
Bottom Bracket: Shimano 600 Ultegra
Headset: Shimano 600 Ultegra
Seatpost: Shimano 600AX (almost identical to a Dura Ace item)
Crankset: Shimano Dura Ace
Chainrings: Shimano Dura Ace, outer: 53 / inner: 39
Pedals: Shimano Dura Ace, new yellow "Christophe" Nylon straps
Rear derailleur: Shimano Dura Ace 7402
Front deraillieur: Shimano Dura Ace 7402, NOS !
Shifters: Shimano Dura Ace 7402, 7-speed

Hubs: Shimano 600, 36 hole, with matching skewers
